We appreciate the prayers for Matthew. This morning was not easy; handing him over to the care of the staff at CCMC and his surgeon Dr Richard Kim. Mike and I did not get very much sleep last night even though Matthew seemed to do well even without food after midnight. He got some juice at 4:45 and then was very hungry when it was time to go into surgery. The nurse just called a little while ago to tell us the procedure has begun. Its going to be a long day for sure. Mary and Mikey are at home keeping grandma and grandpa very busy.
